About
Virgobit, in collaboration with the University of Augsburg, developed an innovative mobile application designed for the simultaneous collection of ECG (Electrocardiogram) and multiple IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor data. The user-friendly app seamlessly integrates with a mobile single-lead ECG belt and a set of IMU sensors, enabling the synchronous collection of raw data from both device sets. This application provides a unified platform that ensures synchronicity in data collection, making it a significant tool for researchers and healthcare providers.
- Develop a unified platform to collect data from two distinct device sets simultaneously.
- Create dedicated plugins for data collection from each device.
- Ensure synchronicity of the collected data.
- Write the recorded data into a comprehensive file accessible on the phone's memory.
Goals
- Managing data from devices with different sampling frequencies.
- Achieving synchronization without external triggers.
- Designing a comprehensive and efficient file format for recorded data.
- Maintaining a user-friendly interface despite the application's complexity.
- Optimizing mobile phone resources to support long-duration data recording.
