About
KIKAN (KINDER Kreativ gegen ANgst) is an innovative project designed
to provide accessible therapy for children suffering from anxiety
disorders.
The project uses an interactive game where children face their
fears, represented by monsters, and build self-confidence through
successful game outcomes.
This game-based therapy combines play with real-world data
collection, aiming to enhance therapeutic outcomes for children in
outpatient psychotherapy or those waiting for therapy placements.
KIKAN focuses on gamifying the treatment of anxiety disorders and
incorporating low-threshold, accessible solutions into clinical
practice.
